The name Duromina means “improve their lives” in the Affan Oromo language.
It is located in the southwest Ethiopia's Oromia state, Kimma zone, and Goma woreda. The Cooperative services grow coffee and cultivate various food crops and raise animals to further supplement their income.
This farm uses a wet mill process and produces around 300,000kg of red cherry each season, free from the use of agrochemicals. Using water free from contamination fed by gravity through its processing, making this cherry completely natural.
In our tasting sessions, we've found the fragrance and aroma floral with a hint of pine. The sweetness is like honey and raw sugar. Like the finest Ethiopian coffees we find acidity like candied citrus and stone fruit flavour. The body is rich, and the finish is clean and sweet.
